Recently, a group of clients from Anhui visited Wuhan Jindian Technology for an on-site inspection and acceptance of the cable fault testing instrument they recently purchased. We warmly welcomed them and arranged for meticulous reception.

Product Introduction

The NR4100 cable fault testing instrument is a comprehensive set of cable fault detection equipment. It can test high-resistance flashover faults, high and low resistance grounding, short circuits, and open circuits or poor contacts in cables. When equipped with an acoustic ranging instrument, it can accurately determine the precise location of the fault. It is especially suitable for testing power cables and communication cables of various models and voltage levels.

Testing faults is safe, fast, and accurate; the instrument uses low-voltage pulse and high-voltage flashover methods for detection, capable of testing various cable faults, especially flashover and high-resistance faults in cables without the need for burning through; when equipped with an acoustic ranging instrument, it can accurately determine the precise location of the fault;

○ High Testing Accuracy

The instrument uses high-speed data sampling technology, with an A/D sampling speed of 100MHz, resulting in a reading resolution of 1m and a detection blind zone of 1m;

○ High Degree of Intelligence

Test results are automatically displayed as waveforms and data on a large-screen LCD, providing intuitive fault judgment; it also features a full Chinese menu display and operation, eliminating the need for specialized training for operators;

○ Waveform and parameter storage and retrieval functions;

○ Uses non-volatile components, ensuring waveforms and data are not lost after power-off;

○ Dual-trace display function;

○ Allows comparison of the test waveform of the faulty cable with a normal waveform, facilitating further fault judgment;

○ Waveform expansion scaling function;

○ Changing the waveform scale allows for waveform expansion for precise testing;

○ Allows arbitrary adjustment of the position of the two cursors, directly displaying the direct or relative distance between the fault point and the test point;

○ Allows modification of the propagation speed according to different cables being tested;

○ Compact and portable design, with an internal rechargeable battery for convenient carrying and use.
