First Session of the Electrical Testing Skills Training Course
Strengthen the experimental foundation and enhance practical skills.
To strengthen its technological foundation and build a highly skilled workforce, JinDian Technology recently successfully hosted the first session of its 2026 specialized training program on electrical testing skills. The training brought together more than 30 technical leaders from across the country and adopted a blended approach of theoretical instruction and hands-on practice to systematically enhance the professional competence and practical capabilities of frontline personnel in the field of electrical testing, thereby laying a solid talent base for ensuring the safe and stable operation of power equipment.
The training program featured a special lecture delivered by the former Deputy Chief Engineer of the State Grid Electric Power Research Institute. Drawing on extensive theoretical expertise and rich field experience, the expert provided a systematic overview and in-depth analysis of core standards, technical specifications, and typical case studies in electrical testing, offering participants a high-caliber, highly valuable knowledge feast.
Practical Training Builds a Solid Foundation; Standardized Procedures
The entire training program utilized the company’s independently developed NR-series professional testing instruments, ensuring rigorous operational procedures and highly accurate, reliable test data. Trainees were guided through every step of the process—from wiring and power-up to parameter configuration, data recording, and result analysis—under standardized operating protocols and demonstrative best practices, fully showcasing their solid technical foundation and exceptional hands-on proficiency.
1. Power cable testing: insulation resistance measurement, AC withstand voltage test;
2. Surge arrester testing: insulation resistance test, DC reference voltage;
3. Transformer testing: four core tests—insulation resistance, DC resistance, turns ratio and winding group, and AC withstand voltage.
4. Vacuum circuit breaker testing: insulation resistance, mechanical characteristics, loop resistance, etc.;
5. Instrument transformer testing: volt-ampere characteristics, AC withstand voltage, etc.;
Skills are the foundation; practical action is paramount.
