Jindian Technology's after-sales team went to Shanxi to provide cable fault training for a client!


Recently, Song Gong, an after-sales service engineer from Wuhan Jindian Technology, visited Taiyuan, Shanxi at the customer's invitation to provide after-sales training on the cable fault testing instrument purchased from our company!

Product Introduction

The NR4100 series cable fault testing instrument is a comprehensive cable fault detection instrument. It can test high-resistance flashover faults, high and low resistance grounding, short circuits, and open circuits and poor contacts in cables. If equipped with an acoustic ranging instrument, the exact location of the fault can be accurately determined. The instrument can test various types of power cables (voltage level 1KV~35KV), city telephone cables, frequency modulation communication cables, coaxial cables, and overhead lines for short circuits, grounding, high-resistance leakage, high-resistance flashover faults, and open circuits and poor contacts in cables; and can test the length of the cable and the propagation speed of the electric wave in the cable.

Main Features

 Safe, fast, and accurate fault testing; the instrument uses low-voltage pulse method and high-voltage flashover method for detection, which can test various faults of the cable, especially for flashover and high-resistance faults of the cable, it can be tested directly without burning; if equipped with an acoustic ranging instrument, the exact location of the fault can be accurately determined;

 The instrument adopts high-speed data sampling technology, with an A/D sampling speed of 100MHz, making the instrument reading resolution 1m, and the detection blind area 1m;

 The test results are automatically displayed on the large-screen LCD in waveform and data, making fault judgment intuitive; and it is equipped with a full Chinese menu display operation function, which requires no special training for operators;

Since there was no fault point at the project site, Song Gong communicated with the customer to conduct a simulation training.

First, Song Gong gave a detailed introduction to the equipment, explaining the theoretical knowledge such as the equipment principle, equipment composition, and testing methods, and then formally started the simulation training.

Before testing the cable fault, Song Gong measured the insulation resistance between each phase and ground at one end of the cable, and judged the fault type according to the high and low resistance values. Then, different testing methods were selected according to the fault type. During the training, the operation precautions were emphasized one by one, and the fault judgment method was explained in detail.

After Song Gong patiently explained, the customer also conducted a simulated operation of the equipment. Through repeated practice, the customer gradually became familiar with the use of the equipment and praised Song Gong's professional service.
